Low battery stand by time is always a problem many people face with their mobile. There are some fine tips you can increase the stand by time of your battery. Your mobile is full of hidden features many of us are unaware. You can get a good stand by battery for your Sony Ericsson cell phone.
While using your phone you may have noticed a blue triangular icon at the top left corner near the network indicator. This icon is the indication which state when are online. Whenever you are connected to internet this icon is on. You should turn is off when not necessary, when you keep this on all the time it consume your battery resulting less standby time.
To turn it off go to menu – settings – connectivity – data communication – preferred service – select CS
When you navigate to preferred service menu there are two options PS packet switch and CS circuit switch. When you select CS you network strength will increase and takes 5-6 seconds for establishing but also this will increase your battery stand by time by 20-30 min. To get a good battery stand by time always select CS service to avoid more consumption of battery by selecting the PS service.
