How to troubleshoot laptop white screen problem?

Many laptop user complaints about the white screen problem, when the laptop is turn on the screen gets white and also sometimes while working for a long time the screen gets white. There may be following problems that you should check

1. Check the connection between the video cable and the LCD screen

2. Check the screen if it is having some problems.

3. Check the integrated video graphics card on the motherboard whether it is defective.

4. Also you can connect the laptop to other monitor and check whether the screen is going white.

5. Go to BIOS and check the video setting and make it to default if the settings have been change. After checking the all the settings and connection power on the laptop and see the weather the problem is occurring again or not if not then use the laptop for long hour for checking the problem if the same problem arises again then replace the LCD screen.

 

How to troubleshoot the dead laptop?

Many a time there are situation when people complaints about the laptop is not working or it is totally dead.
When you plug the wire and power on the laptop there is no startup screen, no LED glows and also there is no noise of the fan spin the screen is totally blank this can be total system corrupt or any software/ hardware problem.

What to do in this case?

1. First make sure all he connection are working the laptop DC adapter is power on. Check the wall outlet whether the current is there or try in other wall outlet.

2. Test the DC power adapter and make sure he voltage supply is working. Check the voltage current with the voltmeter.

3. Check the laptop battery in case if it is not working also check the memory modules in the laptop that may be the problem cause. Plug all the devices again and power on the laptop.

4. If the power cord is not working check it on another laptop and see whether it is working on that or not. If the adapter is working on another laptop then there may some hardware problem with the laptop check the motherboard whether it is getting the power supply or not, check DC power jack if it is broken then this might be the reason the motherboard is not getting the power supply. See all the connection are right, check the HDD connections.

5. Replace the DC power cord in case it is not working. Now attached all the connection back and power on the laptop see the LED light is glowing or not. If you see the light is glowing and the startup screen is showing and also the windows is loaded safely try booting the laptop one or two time this will ensure the laptop is working well.
